MEF’s groundbreaking APIs automate seamless network ordering and drive digital customer journeys

MIAMI, FL, May, 27, 2024 – Cirion Technologies, a leading digital infrastructure and technology provider in Latin America, today announced the successful integration of MEF LSO (Lifecycle Service Orchestration) automation APIs with AT&T, enabling seamless business interactions for ordering network services across the region.

This success is a critical milestone in driving frictionless commerce across the global telecoms industry, removing manual steps, cutting cycle times, and minimizing handling errors. An example is the ability to check Ethernet service availability and pricing in multiple countries using industry-standard APIs.

MEF’s set of standardized LSO APIs enable frictionless inter-provider services across global carriers, offering dynamic and on-demand end-to-end connectivity services, with enhanced interoperability and compatibility among service providers. This new capability drives further collaboration across the industry based on MEF standard APIs, benefitting both buyers and sellers of telecom services by accelerating delivery cycle times.

“Automation of business-to-business interactions with LSO APIs enables service providers to rapidly deliver high-performance/on-demand data services beyond the network footprint of any individual operator,” said Nan Chen, CEO, MEF. “The cooperation among global providers like AT&T and Cirion Technologies is crucial for accelerating the industry’s transformation to dynamic, assured, and certified services across a global federation of automated networks.”

“Accompanying and helping accelerate our customers’ digital transformation is a key imperative of our business´s purpose. The collaboration between Cirion and AT&T will uplift overall service availability and speed to market capability among carriers,” said Gabriel Holgado, Global Sales EVP, Fiber, at Cirion Technologies. “We are committed to interconnect and collaborate with regional and global operators, across the telco business ecosystem, through adopting industry standards, empowering business customers with more efficient and flexible network services.”

“Since AT&T first implemented MEF LSO Sonata APIs five years ago we have seen growing adoption by telecoms service providers in all regions of the World and AT&T’s integration with Cirion extends our automated quoting and ordering capability in Latin America. We are seeing clear benefits in the speed and cost of delivering services driven by the standards-based automation approach which will further improve as we implement with more service providers throughout 2024,” said Aidan Anderson, Global MEF API Program Director at AT&T.

Cirion Technologies strengthens its Data Center business

Holding YDUQS modernizes its IT Infrastructure by partnering with Cirion and Oracle

Holding YDUQS modernizes its IT Infrastructure by partnering with Cirion and Oracle

Updating the computing environment, with the migration to Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer, allows YDUQS to focus on its strategic objectives, while optimizing its costs, offering greater service availability and improving the student experience

São Paulo, March 6, 2024YDUQS, one of Brazil’s most important educational groups retained the technological services of Cirion Technologies, a leading provider of digital infrastructure and technology to migrate all the production databases of the institution to Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer environment, thus updating their business support infrastructure.

YDUQS offers a diverse portfolio of educational institutions, including — Estácio, Ibmec, IDOMED, Wyden and Damásio, covering a wide range of courses and modalities.

In 2020, YDUQS sought to upgrade its IT infrastructure to tackle the growing challenges of the educational market. The institution needed a flexible, scalable and secure solution, which also offered high performance and availability for their critical systems.

Further to a rigorous selection process, Cirion was chosen as a technological partner, responsible for migrating all YDUQS production databases to Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer, deploying Universal Credits model, thus ensuring data resiliency by replicating the environment to another Data Center. The company’s new environment hosts business applications and offers greater availability of the service provided to their students, improving response time to their requests.

This solution provides the company with greater stability, flexibility and security, in addition to optimizing costs and allowing the institution to focus on its strategic objectives.

Benefits of the Solution

Migrating to Exadata provided YDUQS with several benefits, including:

  • Increased stability and performance:  Optimized environment for Oracle Database, resulting in a significant increase in system performance and availability.
  • Flexibility and scalability: The solution is highly flexible and scalable, thus enabling a fast and efficient response to your needs.
  • Security and reliability: State-of-the-art security and reliability resources to ensure that the institution data will be protected.
  • Cost Optimization: Oracle’s solution offers a flexible payment model adjustable to customer needs. The institution pays a monthly recurring price for a set of basic resources (baseline), which guarantees predictability and cost control. In times of high demand, the institution can scale up the OCPUs (central processing units) and pay only for the baseline surplus. This flexibility enables IT cost optimization, paying only for the resources you use.

“YDUQS found the ideal partner in Cirion, since they provide us with daily management support, ensuring Oracle database maintenance and support. Thus our team is able to focus on our apps specifications and in our customers experience  (students) sparing the complexities of support infrastructure,” said Rodrigo Coutinho, IT Director for YDUQS. “The new structure is the foundation for our business digital transformation”.

“YDUQS is a great example for the kind of challenges that Cirion can help you solve. Our professionals are trained to act from their first contact to daily operations support, evaluating IT needs based on our customers’ business demands”, said Rodrigo Oliveira, Data Centers Director for Cirion Brazil.

Infrastructure as a Service: Cirion extends coverage of its Bare Metal Cloud product to Colombia

Minimum latency, provisioning speed, autonomy of use, and management are a few of the main benefits

Miami, February 26, 2024 – To offer computing capacity in different regions, with minimal latency and integrated into zones, Cirion Technologies, a leading provider of digital infrastructure and technology, continues to expand its technological infrastructure in Latin America with the implementation of a new region of its Bare Metal Cloud service, a computing alternative for hybrid environments.

Bare Metal Cloud is a computing platform that offers dedicated, high-performance hardware, with self-management and pay-per-use, to host strategic applications. Bare Metal Cloud makes it possible to assign dedicated servers to any of the platform’s customers automatically, providing minimal latency, provisioning speed, flexibility of use, and management.  Deployed in Cirion’s main data centers, it guarantees proximity to users and high levels of security.

During 2023, this technology was provided to Cirion’s customers in Brazil in São Paulo (SP), Fortaleza (CE), and the Northeast region, as well as in the cities of Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and Curitiba (PR).

Cirion is now expanding its Bare Metal Cloud coverage with a new region in its Data Center in Bogotá, Colombia. Throughout 2024, the company plans to continue its expansion to the cities of Buenos Aires, Lima, Mexico, and Santiago.

“Bare Metal Cloud is a service that offers automated computing capacity and is located close to large centers, so its solutions have very low latency.  Additionally, the solution allows for absolute agility, as it is ready to use,” comments Alejandro Girardotti, Senior Director of Products, Innovation and Strategic Alliances at Cirion Technologies.

Other key benefits are:

  • Reduces IT solutions’ time to market, with on-demand, real-time, dedicated access to customer servers.
  • Offers high-performance computing combined with the flexibility of the cloud.
  • Minimizes latency and optimizes security with dedicated servers hosted in Cirion Data Centers close to users and complying with the highest standards of international certifications (TIER III, ISO, ISAE, PCI).
  • Complete and remote control of computing environment’s logical configuration.

According to the international consultancy firm IDC, by 2026 40% of infrastructure, security, data, and network offerings will require cloud-based control platforms that enable extensive automation and promise significant reductions in ongoing operational costs.

With Bare Metal Cloud, Cirion offers greater cloud agility for the computing infrastructure through an innovative capacity as a service.
