With more than 30 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications market, Marcos Malfatti is Senior Vice President of Sales and Executive Director for Cirion Technologies, a leading digital infrastructure and technology provider.He is responsible for business growth, focusing on expanding his customer base and strengthening a long-term relationship with his current customers in the country.Malfatti held various management positions in the sales area at the former Impsat, before the company was bought by Global Crossing in 2007, by Level 3 in 2011 and finally acquired in 2017 by CenturyLink/Lumen.He joined the company in 1998 when he was Sales Manager of the company’s branch in Curitiba, Paraná state in Brazil. He participated in the opening of the company’s branches throughout Brazil. In 2001 he was appointed Vice President, responsible for all regional offices in the country, a position he has held until now.Previously, Malfatti spent seven years at IBM in various positions, including business representative, business manager, territory manager and branch manager. He also worked for Banestado Informática and Copel (Companhia Paranaense de Electricidade).Marcos Malfatti has a degree in Computer Science from the PUC, a postgraduate degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the Catholic School of Administration and an MBA from the Instituto Superior de Empresas.
