Cirion Reaffirms its Commitment to Digital Innovation and Is Part of Belcorp Hackathon 3.0

As event sponsor, the tech company congratulates participants for crossing the frontier of beauty on the metaverse.

LIMA, Peru, August 10, 2022 Cirion, leading digital infrastructure and technology provider was one of the sponsors at the Third Hackathon hosted by Belcorp, a global beauty company. This event brought together technology professionals to take beauty to its new frontier: the metaverse. 50 selected teams participated of this virtual meeting held on August 5 and 6.

This collaborative meeting of professionals from all over the world lasted two days. Belcorp Hackathon 2022 sought to explore new and innovative metaverse-related technologies, virtual experience, and augmented reality for the beauty industry.

These types of initiatives are a fantastic opportunity to recognize talent, creativity, and ability of technology professionals. Cirion furthers Latin America´s progress through technology. This is why, we are proud to go along with Belcorp in its third Hackathon, which opens a path towards digital innovation and the future with the metaverse, said Gianni Hanawa, Business Director for Cirion Peru.

Professionals from Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, India, Mexico, Panama, United States, and Venezuela participated in this event. The winning team received US$8,000.00, while the second and third places received US$5,000.00 and US$2,000.00, respectively.
