Carlos Allende is Director of Sales for Mexico and the Northern Cluster at Cirion Technologies, a leading provider of digital infrastructure and technology.
He is responsible for commercial and sales activities in this region.
With more than 30 years of experience, he has worked in the IT industry holding important executive positions in companies such as Compaq, Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft, where he was Vice President and General Manager, both in Mexico and in several Latin American countries. He began his career in the information technology and telecommunications industry, as a systems engineer at IBM and reaching leadership positions as Vice President of Business Solutions and General Manager at AT&T and Unisys respectively.
Allende has also been a representative of the IT Industry nationally and internationally as President of the Mexican Association of Information Technologies (AMITI), Vice President of IT of the National Chamber of the Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology Industry (CANIETI) and Vice Chairman of the Latin American Region of the World IT and Services Alliance (WITSA). for its acronym in English).
Carlos holds a degree in Electronic Systems Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). He has diplomas in Banking and Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and the Instituto de Capacitación Financiera (ICAF) and has completed senior management and business management programs at Northwestern University, the University of Pennsylvania, the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas (IPADE) and Singularity University.
