Cirion Technologies today announced the launch of its Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform in Latin America, a solution that turns its more than 105,000 kilometers of own optical fiber, deployed across more than 20 countries, into a programmable, elastic, and self-managed network.
The platform enables companies to activate, adjust, and scale optical connectivity autonomously through a digital portal, without waiting weeks for a circuit change, without additional contracts, and without operational friction. It is the most concrete step a regional operator has taken to bring physical connectivity closer to cloud logic.
The promise of Network-as-a-Service has been on the industry’s radar for years, but bringing it to real scale in Latin America – with different regulations in each market, fragmented infrastructure, and demand growing faster than installed capacity – is something very few operators have been able to achieve.

One of the platform’s most relevant differentiators is its ability to integrate with the customer’s existing network and security infrastructure, without the need to replace equipment or modify protection policies. The launch marks the first phase of an ongoing rollout. Coverage will expand progressively across Cirion’s network and its ecosystem of carrier-neutral data centers in the region. The medium-term focus is on the Pacific Coast, with additional investments in Argentina and Chile and greater redundancy in strategic nodes.
