- The NaaS market is expected to grow from US$33.000 billion in 2025 to US$115.000 billion by 2030 (+28.3%), and Cirion is entering the space with its own regional infrastructure.
- Network changes that used to take 4-12 weeks can now be executed in minutes; customers report savings of 40%-60% and performance improvements across 75% of their applications.
- The platform operates over 105,000 km of fiber across 20+ countries, with dynamic scalability and integrated security, without replacing existing infrastructure.
Washington, D.C., May 19, 2026. Cirion Technologies today announced the launch of its Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform in Latin America, a solution that turns its more than 105,000 kilometers of own optical fiber, deployed across more than 20 countries, into a programmable, elastic, and self-managed network.
The platform enables companies to activate, adjust, and scale optical connectivity autonomously through a digital portal, without waiting weeks for a circuit change, without additional contracts, and without operational friction. It is the most concrete step a regional operator has taken to bring physical connectivity closer to cloud logic.
The promise of Network-as-a-Service has been on the industry’s radar for years, but bringing it to real scale in Latin America – with different regulations in each market, fragmented infrastructure, and demand growing faster than installed capacity – is something very few operators have been able to achieve.
“The speed at which customers are scaling from 100G to 400G – and already to 800G – shows us that business growth no longer waits for infrastructure. Artificial intelligence is accelerating this shift, and the network must respond in real time. Network-as-a-Service is exactly that: moving from rigid networks to programmable platforms that keep pace with market dynamics. The call to action is clear: prepare today to operate at the speed the next digital wave will demand.” Daniel Peiretti, SVP, Products and Customer Experience, Cirion Technologies
One of the platform’s most relevant differentiators is its ability to integrate with the customer’s existing network and security infrastructure, without the need to replace equipment or modify protection policies. It is not merely an overlay: it is connectivity that operates at the foundational layer of enterprise architecture.
The solution incorporates self-service capabilities, real-time operational visibility, dynamic bandwidth management, performance monitoring, usage metrics, and API-orchestrated operations. In doing so, it closes the gap between cloud agility and the robustness of physical connectivity – a point that has historically slowed the adoption of as-a-service models at the transport layer.
Infrastructure Built for What Comes Next
The launch marks the first phase of an ongoing rollout. Coverage will expand progressively across Cirion’s network and its ecosystem of carrier-neutral data centers in the region. The medium-term focus is on the Pacific Coast, with additional investments in Argentina and Chile and greater redundancy in strategic nodes.
With Network-as-a-Service, Cirion takes another step forward in its roadmap to transform Latin America’s digital infrastructure into a living, flexible, and intelligent platform: a network capable of evolving at the pace of its customers and continuously incorporating new capabilities in automation, security, and operational intelligence. This launch is not an endpoint, but the beginning of a new stage of innovation. An advance made possible today through the joint work with Ciena and Carma, strategic partners who helped bring this technological evolution to life for the region.
