Cirion recognized for its commitment to LGBT+ equality
Distinction was granted by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation and the LGBT+ Public Policies Institute in Argentina, as part of the second edition of HRC Equidad AR, from the “Global program for equality in the workplace”.
BUENOS AIRES, July 10th, 2023 Cirion Technologies, a leading provider of digital infrastructure and technology, was once more recognized for its commitment to LGBT+ equality, in the second edition of HRC Equidad AR, part of the “Global program for equality in the workplace” implemented in the country by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation and the LGBT+ Public Policies Institute.
HRC Equidad AR is a national benchmarking tool for LGBT+ inclusion practices and policies, inspired in the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI).

According to the results gathered by the HRC Equidad AR survey, in 62% of the companies surveyed, LGBT+ individuals occupy mid and senior management positions. Additionally, 74% of mid-sized organizations have LGBT+ affinity groups in which individuals who are a reference in the community, as well as allies, outline business agendas to promote more open and inclusive workplaces.
About the recognition
The program, structured according to the research and subsequent analysis of data obtained, is part of the project HRC develops in Latin America and counts on three other initiatives developed in the region: Equality MX, Equality CL, and Equality Brazil.
In its second edition, more than 75 companies and organizations took part, sharing their LGBT+ diversity and inclusion practices and policies throughout 2022.
When compared to 2022’s results, this year:
- Companies participated 43% more, from 53 companies in 2022 to 76 in 2023.
- There was a 22% increase in the number of people directly affected by inclusion programs, reaching 102,177.
- The number of organizations that obtained the certification more than doubled, increasing 123%.
- For the first time, public entities and sectorial organizations participated, such as the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation, the Buenos Aires City Legislature, the Franco-Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Chamber of Deputies of the Province of Santa Fe.
